In orthopedics and accident surgery, patients are treated for injuries, wear and tear, broken bones, sports injuries, and rheumatic inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Around 3,000 operations are performed each year.

The clinic is one of the largest facilities of its kind in Hamburg, performing more than 1,000 surgeries in the field of endoprosthetics per year. The department focuses on endoprosthetic treatment of knee, hip and shoulder joints, arthroscopic surgery on knee, shoulder and ankle joints, and foot surgery.
The clinic consists of a Department of Orthopedics and a Department of Trauma Surgery. Trauma Surgery is headed by Dr. Jansen. The Department of Orthopedics is headed by Dr. Rose.
A team of experienced doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and masseurs ensures that patients are back on their feet quickly. Intensive care, cardiology, and neurology under one roof can also provide safe care for patients of advanced age and concomitant diseases.
